Hello, I first want to apologise about my English, it is not my mothertongue. Thank you for your understanding.

I found a 4chan thread from 2012 about "Camerahead", it seems to continue the original story. It was posted from an anon using the tripcode "dymphan". I found said thread on a now defunct 4chan archive called "4chandata.org", the site was thankfully extensively crawled by the Wayback Machine, the images are sadly gone, but I don't think were in any sort of way related to the creepypasta itself. In the same thread, "camheads" from Manhunt were also mentioned, just like in the now lost /x/enopedia article. This seems to prove that the original post was all there ever was and there was never an ARG-like element in the story, people are possibly getting confused with something else. Should this be added to the article ?

The same text was then reposted twice in 2019. https://archive.4plebs.org/x/thread/23783993/ https://archive.4plebs.org/x/thread/22282276/ -> a partial repost of the original thread

This is the content of the 2012 thread.

"In urban folklore a "Camerahead" represents a malevolent creature of human design. Variously Giger-esque or "biotechnological" descriptions accompany some first hand accounts. The first /x/ thread on the subject, that brought the subject to light was a barely coherent story about a boy finding a note saying "I killed a camerahead." He took this to signify an actual slaying. He was, in fact, unwillingly making a meta-textual reference to himself, as his post killed the cameraheads viability and popularity.

a photograph of a camerahead was in subsequent threads attested to by some. It apparently depicted an "organic camera" for a head atop an alien-like figure, menacing over the red lit bed of some cowering elderly couple.
