I think there's a lot of misunderstanding when it comes to this episode being re-written. The only differences between the original and final versions of this episode were certain lines of dialogue referencing the election-outcome. According to the DVD bonus feature on this episode, four specific scenes weren't written until the night of the election since they were dependent on the election-outcome. These are most-likely... -The opening scene at the community center -The scene where Randy confronts Mr. Garrison -The scene with Eric and Heidi on the park-bench -The scene with Randy at the dinner table So really, the only-thing "lost" about this episode is certain lines of dialogue referencing Hillary-winning. The majority of the plot; including Hillary recruiting Gerald, Eric convincing Heidi of Mars, and Butters pressing pickle stayed exactly the same, and since the four specific-scenes weren't written before the election, they only way to release an "original Hillary version" would be to write, voice, and animate those four scenes... which calls into question the originality of the so-called original version (similar to how they had to shoot new scenes for the "Snyder Cut" of Justice League).
