In 2006, Deal or No Deal was picked up for syndication by NBC. Howie Mandel refused to host it at first, so they ended up picking Arsenio Hall as the host. They shot six episodes with him, but it was ultimately passed off. In 2007, Mandel finally agreed to host the syndicated version, which started airing in 2008.
Hall's episodes have not publicly surfaced in any form, and the only other information that's known about this version's format is that it had a $250,000 grand prize.
