Ed, Edd n Eddy: Junkyard Scramble is a non-existent video game that was rumored to have been developed by Crawfish Interactive and published by BAM! Entertainment, based on the Cartoon Network show Ed, Edd n Eddy.

Before its non-existence was confirmed, it was generally believed to to be a puzzle game and apparently cost $29.99, according to a listing by JJGames.^[1] It's also listed on IGN,^[2] and there was even an eBay listing for it.^[3] The game was rumored to have been cancelled in favor of Ed, Edd n Eddy: Jawbreakers!, which was released on the Game Boy Advance.

On October 1st, 2017, user Comikid uploaded a video to his Youtube account detailing his interactions with Cameron Sheppard (an employee at Crawfish Interactive at the time of the game's rumored development) about the existence of the game. Cameron eventually got back to Comikid, claiming that he and several other people couldn't find anything related to the game on their computers, meaning that everyone was likely confusing the game for Jawbreakers!.

Dorkfest Update

News on the status of Junkyard Scramble circa 2000 was discovered on the Ed, Edd n Eddy fansite Dorkfest.org. It was claimed that Amazon preorder listings were removed and a phone call with BAM! revealed that the game had been scrapped. Allegedly, there were no official statements made by BAM! at the time.^[4]

This led to another update later that year, containing a quoted message board post by series creator Danny Antonucci. He shed light on the "EEE Color Gameboy Game (sic)," stating that it had not been cancelled outright. The planned "game engine" had fallen through due to a rights issue, thus Cartoon Network was in the process of finding a new one.^[5]

Before the game ran into legal trouble, Crawfish Interactive may have been planned to develop it, or the company name was used as a placeholder on preorder listings. This would explain the lack of knowledge or files from old employees. Other details from the listings may have been inaccurate, such as the claim that it was going to be a puzzle game.

It is likely that Junkyard Scramble was the working title of Jawbreakers! before the unexpected switch to the Game Boy Advance and Climax Studios, as opposed to an entirely different game. However, this theory has not been confirmed.
