Escape from Team Fortress (AKA Escape from Team Fortress 2) was an animated series written, produced and animated by Happy Guillotine Studio and funded by Machinima. Production started in early 2014 and all 8 planned episodes were written, produced and voiced however only the first episode was animated as the budget ran out. The series was left in purgatory.
Plot Synopsis
The Series revolves around 3 friends (Gary, Simon and Alisa) who haven't seen each other in years, they reunite for a game night and end up being transported into Team Fortress 2, Alisa gets captured so Gary and Simon must join forces with other people who have been sucked into the game to rescue her and return to their normal lives [1]
Efforts to Find the Lost Series
On the 26th of September 2016 Lost Media Wiki contributor FFeathers was able to contact HLG regarding Escape from Team Fortress who said that they may at some point attempt the crowdfund the animation of the remaining 7 episodes and will likely release the first episode soon. They also clarified that contrary the series' IMDB page was never planned to air on television.
