Fresh Beat Band of Spies is a Nickelodeon animated series that ran from 2015-2016. The show was a spin-off of the live-action preschool series The Fresh Beat Band that ran from 2009-2013. The series consists of animated versions of the main characters from the original show finding ways to solve mysteries in their town.

Pilot

In 2013 a pilot was made to pitch the series to the network. The characters had some design changes compared to the final show, most notably Kiki, who's has a darker skin town and without a hair band and Marina who's hair is a darker shade of blonde, the character Commissioner Goldstar is also noticeably absent. The pilot wasn't found until 2018 when it's creator John Andrews uploaded it onto his Vimeo.
