British developer Just Add Water (JAW) acquired the rights to the Oddworld franchise in the late 2000s and announced in 2011 that Hand of Odd would resume development. Apart from a few screenshots and basic gameplay information, JAW has not released any more details about the game.

Hand of Odd is a real-time strategy/action adventure game that was in development at Oddworld Inhabitants during the early 2000s. When Munch's Oddysee switched platforms from the PlayStation 2 to the Xbox, all efforts had to be refocused on the new version Munch's Oddysee, and Hand of Odd was never mentioned again until 2004, when it was put "On hiatus".
