Handful of Crumbs was a Sesame Street song that first aired sometime in Season 14 of Sesame Street. It featured Cookie Monster singing how he is sad that his cookie broke into crumbs, with a country band of Sesame Street monsters, including one who would become Elmo (performed by Jerry Nelson). At the song's conclusion, Cookie has an idea: eat the crumbs!
