Jack Gordon and Daniel Boone accompany General Braddock and his men on their expedition to the Ohio river valley and are attacked by Indians.  During the fracas, Daniel is injured and Jack disguises himself as an Indian and takes him away from the scene of the battle, in which the General and his men are all killed.  Daniel is nursed back to health by his daughter Suaan (played by Eileen Sedgwick), but Clare de Voe (played by Ruth Royce) watched Jack Gordon come home and betrays him to the rebels, claiming he is a coward and a traitor.  Now Jack, with the help of a recovered Daniel Boone, aims to clear his name by finding evidence of Clare's treachery.  In the end, he presents the evidence to General httWashington (played by Duke R. Lee) and his name is cleared.

In the Days of Daniel Boone is a Universal western film serial from 1923 that is set in 1755 and features Daniel Boone (played by Charles Brinley) and Jack Gordon (played by Jack Mower) as a scout and a British soldier, respectively, on the ill-fated expedition in which General Edward Braddock lost his life in the Ohio River Valley.
