First shown in its original English dub in January of 2000 and rarely aired since was a short from Mickey Mouse Works titled "Minnie Takes Care of Pluto" (originally shown as part of the 16th episode of the series, which served as the third episode of season 2); the episode caused controversy due to its disturbing themes and was barred from re-airing in the US shortly following its debut.
The short sees Pluto being abruptly left at Minnie's house for the day, where he starts believing that she is out to kill him. Throughout the short, Pluto is both spurred on and consoled by his inner devil and angel respectively, resulting in Pluto taking an imaginary journey to hell and back. The short garnered a significant amount of complaints and as such was pulled from US screens indefinitely, though it continued airing infrequently in a number of other countries, sometimes in its original dub.
In the decade following, several foreign rips of the episode began appearing online, though the English audio remained totally unaccounted for, until the 9th of October, 2014, when a YouTube user by the name bumbumdbear uploaded a camcorder recorded English copy, cited as being sourced from Disney Channel Asia, circa 2010.
Shown only once in the US on January 22, 2000, was the English dub of the controversial Mickey Mouse Works short "Minnie Takes Care of Pluto" (included in episode 17). The plot involves Minnie being forced to babysit Pluto, and Pluto being lead (by his inner devil & inner angel) to believe that Minnie is trying to kill him.
The short received so many complaints that it was never again aired in the US, or any other English speaking country, although it continues to air in countries around the world, mainly in Europe. The closest to an English dub available online is a recording with Polish Audio and English subtitles.
UPDATE 08 Nov: Well, wouldn't you know it, another piece of unearthed lost media has slipped by us, and for almost a month this time! Our bad. Anyhow, on October 9th, a YouTube user by the name of bumbumdbear uploaded a camcorder recording of the rare English dub of "Minnie Takes Care of Pluto", the so-called "banned" episode of Mickey Mouse Works! The recording was apparently taken from a circa 2010 airing of the elusive episode, on Disney Channel Asia.
