Hasbro's '''''Net Jet''''' was a "system" created under their Tiger Electronics brand in 2007 and was supported until 2009. What made the Net Jet unique was that it wasn't actually a game console in itself nor was it really a "plug-and-play" device. In order to play games on it, it had to be plugged into a USB slot on one's computer where it would automatically start up and be ready to download and play games so long as there was an internet connection. In essence, the Net Jet acted as the controller, the console, and "physical" DRM.

Most of the games for the system were based on various cartoons such as ''The Fairly OddParents'', ''The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy'', and ''Transformers'' among others. To play these games, however, you would have to buy a "game key" from a store and then put it into the system (while also having an internet connection). The game's files and saves would then be put onto the computer. You would also get a choice of three Java/Flash-based games upon activating the key. Despite this, the key ''and'' an internet connection would be required to ever play the games. The only things saved to the key itself are your choices for the bonus games.

The controller/system.

Status: Partially Lost

Hasbro's Net Jet was a "system" created under their Tiger Electronics brand in 2007 and was supported until 2009.

Most of the games for the system were based on various cartoons such as The Fairly OddParents, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, and Transformers among others. To play these games, however, you would have to buy a "game key" from a store and then put it into the system (while also having an internet connection). The game's files and saves would then be put onto the computer. You would also get a choice of three Java/Flash-based games upon activating the key. Despite this, the key and an internet connection would be required to ever play the games. The only things saved to the key itself are your choices for the bonus games.

Games

While some of the games on the system were either available on other consoles or online, the following were exclusive to the system:

# Game Title Status
1 Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends - Buggin' Out Found
2 The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy - Freaky Freezeday Found
3 Kool Kart Racers Lost
4 Littlest Pet Shop - My Teeniest Town Lost
5 Marble Blast XP Found
6 Mission Paintball Powered Up Found
7 Peak Performance Snowboarding Found
8 Super Soaker Water Fight Found
9 Transformers Battle Universe Found
10 Bubble Bonanza Found
11 SpongeBob SquarePants - SpongeBob's Pizza Toss Found
12 The Fairly OddParents - Timmy's Roach Rampage Lost

Availability

Because of the fact that an internet connection is needed to play the games and the Net Jet became unsupported as of 2009, all of the Net Jet's games are completely unplayable and this message will show up upon trying to connect:

"PLEASE NOTE: We hope you have enjoyed your NET JET Online Gaming System. Unfortunately, NET JET products have been discontinued. This site will no longer be available on or about December 31, 2009. We appreciate your interest in Hasbro products. If you have any questions, please contact Hasbro Customer Service."

While the servers have been shut down, [1] one YouTuber seems to have found some way to run Net Jet games. Whether it's still possible or not, this user's videos feature some of the little footage left of the console's games.

A MEGA folder of some Net Jet games is currently available to download.
