Oggy and the Cockroaches: The Movie (also known as Oggy et les Cafards: Le Film in French) is a 2013 French animated anthology comedy film directed and written by Olivier Jean-Marie under Xilam Animation, that premiered in France on August 7, 2013 to May 20-7. The film is based on the series Oggy and the Cockroaches and also has no dialogue, like the series.
The movie presents Oggy, Jack and other characters of the show, born in different eras and time periods and having wacky adventures. In the movie, there are 4 eras where Oggy is born and his adventures take place, namely-
- Prehistoric Era (Stone age)
- Middle Age (1350)
- Victorian Era (1899)
- Future Era (Star Wars Era)
However, some scenes involving different eras were rejected, removed and deleted from the movie, but small glimpses of the scenes are present in the trailer.
