{{InfoboxFound |title=<center>Peppermint Park</center> |image=PPLMW55.jpg |imagecaption=The Volume 1 VHS. |status=<span style="color:green;">'''Found'''</span> |datefound=Various dates |foundby=[https://youtube.com/user/IcyRoserade IcyRoserade] }} '''''Peppermint Park''''' was a 1987 puppet show that was released straight to VHS between 1987 and 1988. It had mainly limited releases normally published by low-money companies and was produced by Mark V Productions. ==History== ''Peppermint Park'' was an American direct-to-video children's show released in 1987. Six volumes of the series were released. The show had many similarities to ''Sesame Street'', in that it was a mixture of live-action and puppets. Characters included Ernie (not to be confused with the character from ''Sesame Street''), who sang a song about the letter M, and Piggle, a pig with a big appetite. The show's most recent mentioning was in a crossover with PhantomStrider and Blameitonjorge on the "Top 10 Creepiest Kids Characters" video.<ref>[https://youtu.be/22y-Tg4D8GQ "Top 10 Creepiest Kids Characters".] Retrieved 01 Mar '19</ref> The series was directed and produced by John Horton and Mark V. Productions. The puppets were created by Dann O'Quinn. Six episodes, one per volume, were released by Televidics Productions. The show contained puppets that would teach children letters, numbers, and other educational subjects. It also contained some short animated and live-action segments like ''Sesame Street'' as well. Most likely due to very poor sales and negative reviews, the series was cut short and was cancelled sometime in 1988. The six volumes and special preview tape additionally went out of print at this point as well. Modern viewers have called the show a blatant ripoff of ''Sesame Street''.<ref>[https://youtu.be/AnMOTQb0L4I YouTuber Chadtronic's review of the show, with the title of the video being "Worst Puppet Show Ever".] Retrieved 01 Mar '19</ref> Many people have also made memes and YouTube Poops on the show.<ref>[https://youtu.be/GMPN2F9VtHs A YouTube Poop that makes fun of ''Peppermint Park''.] Retrieved 01 Mar '19</ref> ==VHS== Volumes 1 through 6 were discovered by YouTube user IcyRoserade and were gradually uploaded to YouTube. A special preview tape was also discovered by IcyRoserade. {| class="wikitable" style="text-align:center" |- ! style="background-color:green" | # ! style="background-color:green" | VHS Title ! style="background-color:green" | Status |- |0||Special Preview Tape||[https://youtu.be/PkD5lLWuowI<span style="color:green;">'''Found'''] |- |1||Magic Moments||[https://youtu.be/lXThsWgpdfw<span style="color:green;">'''Found'''] |- |2||The Story Lady||[https://youtu.be/_jMHO1YZ-ZQ<span style="color:green;">'''Found'''] |- |3||Music Land||[https://youtu.be/Xt8fQrNiy9U<span style="color:green;">'''Found'''] |- |4||Musical Letters||[https://youtu.be/pDkCbfKQjXI<span style="color:green;">'''Found'''] |- |5||Carnival Fun||[https://youtu.be/aAv9x2FxxHY<span style="color:green;">'''Found'''] |- |6||Discover Feelings||[https://youtu.be/w0waDDjpAd8<span style="color:green;">'''Found'''] |} ==Gallery== {{Video|perrow =1 |service1 =youtube |id1 =4dAXffAnELg |description1 =VHS covers }} ==References== {{reflist}} [[Category:Found media]] [[Category:Found puppetry]]
