'Popcorn' by Gershon Kingsley is perhaps the most well-known piece of electronic music.[1] Composed in 1969, this version has been covered various times, but base of most covers is Kingsley's own 7" Single version, released in 1972.[2]
Unlike the LP version, the 7" version has the iconic start used in most covers. It is also slightly slower and has a lower pitch.
Nothing else is known about this version. Only an excerpt has been uploaded on the internet[3], and as of now, little to no other info or audio is available.
7/6/2016 Update: The 7" single is available to purchase on eBay (from Germany)[4]
