Tokyo Godfathers is an original anime film which premiered in theaters on November 8, 2003 in Japan. When the film was brought over for release in 2004 in the United States, it was only in an English-subtitled format. However, an English dub was also produced for an international market.

Sometime between 2004 and 2006, an English dub was broadcast on the television station Animax Asia. The only known actors in it were the three characters, Miyuki (played by Candice Moore), Gin (Darren Pleavin), and Hana (Russel Wait). These three frequently showed up in Animax's dubs.

Availability

The dub appears to have only aired briefly on Animax Asia, as no known home video release contains an English track. Additionally, it has never been put online outside of two short clips as part of Russell Wait's portfolio.
