Status: Partially Found

Christmas Dreams was a Canadian jukebox musical TV special directed by Adam Cane and written by Susan Coyne; it aired on CBC on December 16, 2009. It stars Maranda Thomas as Sam, a jaded girl looking for a Christmas present for her sister. In her search she comes across a second-hand store owned by a woman named Rose (Cynthia Dale), who helps Sam rediscover the magic of Christmas and herself rediscover the importance of family. Tom Cavanagh, Henry Czerny and the late Ed Asner also appear in supporting roles.[1]

Availability

The special never re-aired on CBC after its initial airing, nor was it ever released to home media or streaming; however, it was known to air on the American digital subchannel Bounce multiple times in the 2010s.[2] Very little exists of it in online circles, and the only visual evidence that can be found of it online is a clip of Cavanagh performing "Boogie Woogie Santa Claus", as well as a few short, audio-less clips in a review of the special from when it first aired.
