A lot people think of this lost film as a continuation of the portrayals of slavery and depictions of black people, but I don't believe that is the case here. Based on the surviving stills and the plot, it is white Americans who are ambushed, killed, and conquered by the Germans. And an army of women take it upon themselves to overthrow the enemy...a task in which the men have failed...sound familiar? This is the kind of feminist agenda that modern-day Hollywood keeps shoving down our throats...that is, never send a man to do a woman's job. Anyway, I feel this film is unjustly maligned because of the people who made it, and wish a copy had survived as it presented a 'what if' scenario and an alternate reality of a naive and pacifist America unprepared for an invading force from abroad. I would have kept an open mind and gone to see this film.
