I'm actually friends with the guy who plays Batatinha, here in Portugal, and I once asked him about these rumours. As far as he told me, they did fight but it was not on stage, and even if it had been there'd be no live recording of it, since they'd, obviously, quickly go to commercial, as the show was not really "live".
