After uploading this article, I found a read along video on youtube featuring the Disney Bear story. Apologies for the misinformation. Though the Disney Bear story isn't actually lost, I do feel like Duffy's origins as the Disney Bear has been lost to the general public including among the aforementioned die-hard Disney Fans, so I still feel satisfied in sharing the origins of Duffy via the Lost Media Wiki.
