Dragon Ball is a 153-episode anime adaptation of Akira Toriyama's manga series of the same name by Toei Animation that ran on Fuji TV between 1986 and 1989. The series has been dubbed into English multiple times, most notably in 2001 by the Flower Mound, Texas-based Funimation Productions and in 2003 by Blue Water Studios in Calgary, Alberta.

In July 2006, the South East Asian Animax affiliates began running Dragon Ball with a new English dub.[1] Produced in Hong Kong, the dub featured Andrea Kwan as Goku and young Chi-Chi, David Bridges as Master Roshi, Tenshinhan, and teenage Goku, as well as other characters, with Scott Evans playing Yamcha.[2][3]

The only footage of this version of Dragon Ball to surface online comes from a demo reel posted by Russell Wait, who played General Blue, Tenshinhan, and King Piccolo in this dub.[4]
