Freaky Eaters (also called Eataholics) was a British factual television show that aired from 2007 to 2010 on BBC Three. The show had an American version that aired on TLC from 2010 to 2011. The show involves people with eating disorders or addictions to certain foods, who are helped by health specialists to help overcome their disorders or addictions. Each episode runs for 60 minutes (45 for season 1) and involves information such as their daily lives, and of course, their diets.

The British version of the show premiered on BBC Three on February 14, 2007.[1] This season was somewhat different to the later seasons, with an overall more serious tone and different specialists. It ran up until around the summer of 2007 when the show went on a brief hiatus.[2] About year later on February 13, 2008, the second season premiered.[3] Although season 2 and later is readily available online, season 1 fell into obscurity and is very hard to find online.

Availability

Clips of season 1 used to be available on Only Human for a few years until it was unexpectedly privated, as well as other old videos, following a rebrand of the channel. None of the episodes were archived properly or at all, and as a result, left season 1 mostly lost. As of 2022, a few clips have surfaced over time. These are mostly reaction videos and are all missing the rest of the episode.

No recordings of the show airing on BBC Three have resurfaced either.
