Kikasete! Oshiete! AIDS no Arekore (聞かせて!教えて!エイズのあれこれ, English translation: Tell me! Teach me! AIDS This & That) is an educational DVD released by the Japan Foundation for AIDS Prevention (JFAP) in 1999.[1] Most notably, the film features Dr. Ochanomizu from Astro Boy as an animated guide. It aims to provide basic knowledge about the characteristics of AIDS/HIV including how to prevent infection and how to get tested. It is aimed at junior high students and above[2], and features both animated and live-action sequences. The full runtime is about one hour.[1]

The DVD was distributed to select government-designated cities and prefectures in Japan, along with a DVD player, monitor, and educational pamphlet.[1] It currently appears to be available to rent for Japanese educators on the website for the city of Asahikawa, Hokkaido.[3]

Around October 2005, a ~5 minute clip of the film was being screened on TVs at Narita International Airport.[4] Interestingly, English subtitles can be seen in the only known image of this film, taken at the Narita Airport screening. It is unknown if the subtitles are present in the full DVD, or if they were added for the clip shown at Narita Airport.
