New characters are introduced in these cartoons, ranging from Mean Moe, to Koko's girlfriend Kokette and Koko's pal Kokonut. The voices for Koko, Kokonut, Mean Moe and all other male characters are provided by Larry Storch, while the voice of Kokette and other female characters is by Norma MacMillian. [1]

Status

According to The Fleischer Story, Max Fleischer is horrified at the television shorts when he first saw them. The television Koko cartoons are impossible to find. A few shorts of the series like Jungle Bungle or Mayor Mean Moe can be viewed on YouTube on the Not An Animation Historian YouTube channel, while Mean Moe Tells William Tell is sourced from a BBC1 airing, meaning that the shorts also aired as interstitials or filler in-between programming.
