The Prayer For The Holy Souls in Purgatory is a prayer written by St. Gertrude the Great, which Our Lord told her that each time she piously recited the prayer.
In 2002, the group Prayer Warriors of the Holy Souls, through the Monfort Foundation produces the prayer which is frequently shown on National Broadcasting Network (now People's Television Network).
Premise
The segment begins with a shot of a illustration of Jesus and the Blessed Virgin Mary carry a little girl saved in heaven.
The male voiceover did introduced and ends the prayer in both English and Tagalog. The transcript of the introduction and ending in English was said to said look like this:
In a few minutes, let us all pray the prayer of Saint Gertude for all the Holy Souls in purgatory. The word of God says that praying for the faithful departed is a good in noble acts.
Please join us everyday, for this offering of love for our faithful departed.
The introduction and ending in Tagalog was supposed to be said like this:
Sa ilang minuto, ipagdasal nating lahat ang panalangin ni San Gertrude para sa lahat ng mga Banal na Kaluluwa sa purgatoryo. Sinasabi ng salita ng Diyos na ang pagdarasal para sa mga tapat na yumao ay mabuti sa marangal na mga gawa.
Samahan nyo po kami araw-araw, para sa pag-aalay na ito ng pag-ibig para sa aming tapat na yumao.
The prayer segment ends with the contact information of the Prayer Warriors of the Holy Souls, followed by a closing graphic which is saying "This offering is brought to you by the PRAYER WARRIORS OF THE HOLY SOULS, under the auspices of the MONFORT FOUNDATION, INC. and the NATIONAL BROADCASTING NETWORK".

First Version
The graphic shows the logo of the Prayer Warriors of the Holy Souls in a green background, with the graphic saying "Prayer For The Holy Souls in Purgatory" in English or "Panalangin Para sa mga Banal na Kaluluwa sa Purgatoryo" in Tagalog, followed by a shot of a illustration of Jesus and the Blessed Virgin Mary carry a little girl saved in heaven, with introduction showing the pan shot of the image of said illustration. The prayer appears in the clouds background, then the image of the Holy Souls appeared in the green background.
Second Version
The prayer begins with the logo of the Prayer Warriors of the Holy Souls appearing on a light background, followed by the same graphic, the same pan shot of the image of said illustration is appeared, followed by the same prayer appeared on screen. During the ending, the contact information of the Prayer Warriors of the Holy Souls are appeared.
Third version
This version is used from 2011 to 2014, it uses the same images as the second version, but however in the ending, the "NATIONAL BROADCASTING NETWORK" reference has been changed to the "PEOPLE'S TELEVISION NETWORK" in the graphic.
Availability
The prayer segment is aired exclusively on the NBN 4 (PTV 4 from 2011 to 2014), with the English version is used during sign-off and the Tagalog version is used during sign-on. The prayer segment was discontinued in 2014, when the network replaces it with the network-produced "Panalangin ng Bayan" segment in the same year. deniel013 uploaded the video featuring the second version of the English version of said prayer in May of 2010. As of now, the 2 versions of the English version of the prayer and 3 versions of the Tagalog version of the prayer had been lost.

- The music used in all 3 versions of the prayer in 2 languages is "Pagbanwag", a Cebuano recessional song during the holy mass that is sang in Churches in the Visayas and Mindanao area.
