The arcade machine

Status: Lost

SegaSonic Cotton Candy Scramble (セガソニックわたあめスクランブル Segasonikku Watāme Sukuranburu?) is an unreleased arcade vending machine produced by Sega. The vending machine would have dispensed cotton candy for the costumer. Much like SegaSonic Popcorn Shop, the arcade cabinet would have also contained a game featuring Sonic and Tails during the cotton candy preparation. SegaSonic Cotton Candy Scramble was only presented to the public once during the Japanese Amusement Machine Show 1994 and it did not receive a wide release since.

After the Japanese annual trade fair, the arcade cabinet has remained unknown for years. The cabinet itself and its details have been listed in the Sega 1994 Amusement Machine Guide book. Also, in 14 July 2000, patent documents of the arcade cabinet were released online.
