Shining Blood is a 1993 occult thriller movie by the British director, actor, singer, musician, and esoteric scholar Stanislas "Stash" Klossowski de Rola. It was released by his company "Thrill Entertainment"; however, as of now, it's not available on the Net, with the exception of a few scenes that have been uploaded on YouTube by the user "dswex".

Plot

The story revolves around the Vietnam veteran and recent parolee Billy Hawkins (portrayed by Stash himself, and later revealed to also be an aristocrat, lord William Hawkins) who meets a young couple, Dan Rebeaux (Gabriel DiCristofaro) and Debra Jo Paxton (Machel Penn), and rescues them from a kidnapping attempt in Arizona. The three then go on a search for the lost treasure and stumble upon sacred Native American burial grounds; Hawkins also becomes romantically involved with Debra.

Stash stated in an interview that he intended Shining Blood as "a mystical road movie, based really on the Arthurian legend and on the principle of "Amor Vinci Omnia"". He also said that he planned to follow it up with another movie, "a modern version of the myth of Venus and Tannheuser which is replete with hermetic imagery and deals with the conflict between the conception of love and desire, with small letters, as opposed to Divine Love and Divine Desire and the despotic rule of love".
