Slipknot is an American heavy metal band from Des Moines, Iowa. Formed in 1995, Anders Colsefni originally acted as lead vocalist before being replaced by Corey Taylor in 1997. However, there are lost demos that date back to 1992, featuring some of the original band members. During mid-1997-1998, Anders and Corey worked together, with Corey covering some of the demos before Anders left. So far, only some of the songs from the demos have appeared up online. It is important to remember nearly all lost tracks exist in private collections and are preserved digitally.

1995 Demo
In 1995, Slipknot created their first demo.[1] On January 30th, 2020, YouTube user Black Heart uploaded the entire demo to his channel.

The Silver Disc
"The Silver Disc" is another collection of songs submitted to RoadRunner Records. this time with Corey's vocals. Once Corey Taylor joined Slipknot, Anders Colsefni quickly left the band and the demo project was scrapped. Corey's vocals were recorded on top of the pre-existing backing tracks, and the collection of songs was to be the starting point for a new demo album set for release in 1998. Fake live crowds were also added to the demo.
