Tec the Tractor (Welsh title: Tecwyn y Tractor) is a Welsh CGI animated TV series based on the book series by Margiad Roberts that originally ran on S4C from 1998-mid 2000s and in the US on BabyFirst TV from 2006-late 2000s. The series is about a tractor named Tec who lives on a farm with his friends Tommy the Trailer, Carolyn the Cow, Roy the Farmer and his daughter, Katy where in each episode he gets himself into many mishaps while his friends help him out of various situations.[1]

English Localization

The show's original Welsh version had many differences compared to the show's English dub. All the references to Welsh culture were removed along with the character's name were changed to help better appeal to an American audience. Tecwyn's name changed to Tec, Twm name changed to Tommy, Moi changed to Roy, Nanw to Molly and Cadi to Katie. The farm name was also changed from Tyddin Difyr to just Family Farm.
