The Little Dinos is a Chinese animated series released sometime in China in the late 90s or early 2000s, and picked up for release in North America by Phoenix Media in 2001.[1]
Plot
The story follows Xander, Amy, and Danny, members of an alien species called Dinomen who descend from dinosaurs. The three go back in time and travel through space in order to study dinosaurs with the help of human scientist Dr. Lin. Unbeknownst to the three, Amy's father Terrevil and his followers attempt to gather dinosaur DNA in order to genetically engineer super-powered beings known as Super-Lives in order to take over the universe. The series was intended to be educational, showing off the lives of dinosaurs and their extinctions as well as having an environmental message.[2]
Availability
There are 26 episodes of this series, and multiple different dubs. The Arabic dub is the most complete, with the majority of it uploaded to YouTube and only episodes 16-20 missing from this dub.[3] A few episodes of the Chinese dub have been found, uploaded to the streaming site Billibilli by multiple different[4] users[5]. Four DVDs, each containing two episodes were released in North America.
