The Needle Drop (partially found early videos of YouTube channel; 2009-2010)
Anthony Fantano, aka "The Needle Drop", is a popular YouTuber who mostly does music reviews. He's had numerous videos removed from his channel (primarily his earliest ones) due to them possibly infringing YouTube's copyright policies. This includes reviews for Animal Collective, Fever Ray, and Sunn O))).[1][2]
Quantity
Approximately 160 videos are currently lost. (An archive from the Wayback Machine displays that Fantano had 240 uploads as of June 5, 2010.[3] To extrapolate the number of missing videos, ignore the 68 videos currently available on his channel from before the aforementioned date and the 12 videos that have been archived below.)
Availability
Anthony has stated that many of the deleted videos are no longer in his possession, meaning that the only way these videos can still be found is if someone happened to download his videos before they were deleted and were willing to re-upload them; some may be lost forever.
