Ravex (typically writen as "ravex") was a Japanese electronic music group that was formed to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the company, avex trax, a Japanese music label founded in 1988. The group consisted of popular Japanese musicians such as Fantastic Plastic Machine (FPM), Shinichi Osawa, and ☆Taku Takahashi. The group was also notable for having Tezuka Productions providing art for this collaboration, as well as for lending popular Osamu Tezuka characters to the project's music videos and OVA, including characters such as Astro Boy and Black Jack. Various songs from the band featured other avex trax artists who were signed to the label at the time, such as MONKEY MAJIK, Namie Amuro, and BoA.

On April 29th, 2009, the official Ravex page announced the release of a limited-release album in collaboration wit Ozamu Tezuka's production company. To obtain this limited UT×ravex remixes release, a purchase of a UT×ravex character T-shirt would have to have been purchased at a Japanese Uniqlo location, which would then provide te album through the Chaku Uta digital transmission service, which was a digital music transmission and database service commonly used in Japan back then to distribute and download ringtones and full songs.[1][2]

Despite the popularity of Osamu Tezuka's characters in Japan and despite the popularity of the artists at the time, none of the remixes have ever resurfaced online, and remain lost to this day.
