Dead or Alive were a British new-wave band that formed in 1980 and disbanded in 2016, after Pete Burns died. Primarily known for their 1984 single "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)", the lineup variously consisted of the late frontman Pete Burns, guitarist Wayne Hussey, bassist Mike Percy, drummer Steve Coy, and Timothy Lever on various instruments.

In 2008, eight years before the band would separate, Burns filmed a sex tape that got leaked online for only a few weeks and then disappeared. There's only one picture containing some screenshots from the video online, but the video itself cannot be found anymore.
