Despite being unfinished, many fans theorized that ''Life Sucks'' could be a prequel to ''Ren Seeks Help'' since John K stated that Ren must've done something horrible to Stimpy in a abusive relationship scene from that episode but doesn't want to explain what happened before it. From the looks of the storyboard, this episode might or might not be the explanation.
