Tebaatusasula ("Those Who Were Screwed Over") was a 2010 Wakaliwood action film, produced and directed by Isaac Godfrey Geoffrey Nabwana (AKA Nabwana I.G.G.). Tebaatusasula was set to be a follow-up to Wakaliwood's notorious previous film, Who Killed Captain Alex. The film's exact plot is unknown, but the name apparently refers to "an elite team of Ugandan Commandos who are forced into a life of crime to save their ailing families".^[1]

History

According to one of the cards at the beginning of Who Killed Captain Alex's YouTube release, Nabwana started production on Tebaatusasula after erasing his computer, including all files of Who Killed Captain Alex, making that film's original audio lost for several years as a result.^[2] A trailer for the film was released on January 19th, 2010.

Due to harsh working conditions of Wakaliga (a suburb just outside of Kampala, Uganda, where Wakaliwood takes place), power surges happened frequently. One such power surge of a higher grade ended up destroying Wakaliwood's only HDD, in which the film's footage was stored. Due to how Nabwana was unable to keep backups of his films' data, Tebaatusasula is now considered a permanently lost film. It is unknown how far the movie got into completion before the incident.

Wakaliwood has since 2015 worked on a sequel/reboot of the film named Tebaatusasula: EBOLA, which is set to feature all the original film's trailer promised, emphasizing on an infamous part of said trailer in which a car appears to be bleeding from a gunshot.^[1]
