The Adventures of Paddy the Pelican is one of the first made for TV cartoon series of the 1950s on Chicago's WENR-TV.
Due to the low-production budget, it is infamous for its pencil sketch animation, dark backgrounds, looping sequences, and poor lip syncing.
Because of this, it is often mentioned among "the worst cartoons ever".
