Hellevator was an American horror game show produced by Jason Blum that premiered on Game Show Network on October 21, 2015 and concluded on October 28, 2016, for 12 episodes over 2 seasons. The show was hosted by Jen and Sylvia Soska.
Premise
In the 1st season, 3 contestants enter an elevator where the Soska sisters tell the teams a story for their challenges they will face. Afterwards, the team then has to choose 1 person to do the challenge. If that person completes the challenge and makes it back to the "Hellevator", they win money for their team. Then at the very end, whoever is left will face the Labyrinth to win an additional $20,000.
Then it was changed in the 2nd season, where 4 contestants played and one was put in the inferno cell. Then again, the sisters will tell a story for the other 3 contestants for their challenges, if they succeed, they move on to "The Inferno Run" to save their teammate(s), but if they fail, they will join them in the inferno cell.
The first challenge is worth $2,000, the second challenge is worth $3,000, and the third is worth $5,000. Then at "The Inferno Run", the teams have a chance to win an additional $40,000 to add to their winnings.
Availability
Prior to the show's premiere, interviews about the show with the Soska sisters were uploaded to YouTube. On September 1st, 2016, the 1st season of the show was added to Netflix before being removed 2 years later on September 1st, 2018.[1] On October 6th, 2016, one day before the season 2 premiere, the Sling TV Facebook page released the first episode (mostly likely for early viewing).[2] In 2017, YouTuber Elise D'Orazio uploaded clips she did behind the scenes during both seasons on the show.[3]
Then 7 years later in November 2023, a YouTube channel called "lost media" uploaded the completed 1st season on YouTube, however, episode 5 was taken down due to copyright, and still considering until it's published or uploaded elsewhere.
But the season 2 episodes (expect the first episode) are still lost, however, there was 2 episodes on YouTube recorded by someone off of Netflix potato-cammed, but unfortunately, it's no longer on the site.
