Piki and Poko: Adventures in StarLand (or simply Piki and Poko) is an American Flash animated web series created by David Cutler (now known as Rowan Cutler) and Mark Ewert for Mondo Media. It aired from 1999 to 2001, with 27 episodes. Unlike other Flash animated web series by Mondo Media, such as The God and Devil Show, Like, News, and Happy Tree Friends, the series is appropriate for all ages, according to co-creator Mark Ewert[1]. While the series had 27 episodes, there are 6 unaired episodes. The two unaired episodes have been found, but the other four are lost.
Plot
The series follows Piki Matsumoto (voiced by Nikki Rapp, credited as Nicki Rapp), and Poko Shizumitsu (voiced by Alexis Lezin), two anime-inspired girls who get sucked into StarLand by evil candy. They are needed to free the celestial Zodiac DJs from The Evil Homemaker and their leader, Shaper. Trapped in this confusing new environment with Fertilidad (also voiced by Alexis Lezin) as their guide, Piki and Poko must navigate StarLand while learning to master their own awesome powers.
