If a contestant cuts the wrong wire, the bomb will explode, spraying the player, the host, and the audience, with whatever food was in the bomb, (ie: Alfredo Sauce, Wedding Cake, Pesto, etc.) and the contestant is out. If all 3 contestants make a bomb explode, the team is out and goes home with nothing. Boom has an hour runtime per episode so the episode will often have more than one team in it.
