Revision as of 14:01, 19 December 2021
Dark Shadows was a soap opera running from 1966-1971 centered around a wealthy family and the supernatural creatures and experiences they encounter. The series was incredibly popular, and maintains a following to this day. The series spawned three feature films (two during the production of the original run and one released in 2012), a short-lived revival series in 1991, an unsold pilot in 2004, novels, comic strips, and an audio drama.
Surprisingly, despite the show airing 1,225 episodes, most of them are fully archived and available,[1] with the only exception being Episode 1219.
Availability
While the original airing has been lost, the audio has been found thanks to a viewer recording the audio while the episode was airing. A reconstruction has been made using the audio and various stills from other episodes of the show.[1]
