Tropang Trumpo is a Filipino comedy show aired on ABC 5 from March 12, 1994 until its final run on March 13, 1999 and it is lasted for five years.
Information
The show was originally shown on Friday nights with an original cast that included Ogie Alcasid, Michael V., Gelli de Belen, and theatre/voice actors Noni Buencamino, Manny Castañeda, Earl Ignacio, Sheilou Bharwani, Mhalou Crisologo, Ana Abad Santos and Lorna Gay Long. It was moved to Saturday nights in 1995, following the departures of both Ogie Alcasid and Michael V. from the show to join GMA for the rookie comedy show "Bubble Gang". It was later expanded to 90 minutes in 1996, but it later returned to 60 minutes in the show's final run. The show won as Best Gag Show during the 1995 Star Awards for Television and received regional acclaim as "Highly Commended" in the Best Comedy Programme or Series in the 1996 Asian Television Awards held in Singapore.

Trivia
- Two segments from the show, "Wow Mali!" and "Ogag" was later purposed as stand alone shows aired on ABC 5. The former was premiered on May 25, 1996 and it is aired on Saturday nights after this program, but after the show's cancellation in 1999, the program was continued airing until it was carried over on TV5, with a 5 year hiatus staring in 2013, while the latter was served from 1996 to 1997.
