In 1958, Max Fleischer revived his studio (renamed back to Out of the Inkwell Studios) and reunited with his old colleague Hal Seeger in a partnership to produce 100 television Out of the Inkwell cartoon shorts featuring one of his studio's iconic star, Koko the Klown. New characters are introduced in these cartoons, ranging from Mean Moe, to Koko's girlfriend Kokette and Koko's pal Kokonut. The voices for Koko, Kokonut, Mean Moe and all other male characters are provided by Larry Storch, while the voice of Kokette is (presumably) by Beverly Arnold.

Sypnosis

The adventures of Koko the Klown, out of an ink bottle, with his sidekick Kokonut, his girlfriend Kokette and his foe Mean Moe. At the beginning of each episode, Koko interacts with the drawer. However, with Mean Moe's everlasting pranks, Koko always finds a way to outcome these and win, either with the help of Kokonut...or vice versa! -Summary by RealLiveCloud on IMDb.

Status

According to The Fleischer Story, Max Fleischer is horrified at the television shorts when he first saw them. The television Koko cartoons are impossible to find. A few shorts of the series like Jungle Bungle or Mayor Mean Moe can be viewed on YouTube on the Not An Animation Historian YouTube channel, while Mean Moe Meets William Tell is sourced from a BBC1 airing, meaning that the shorts also aired as interstitials or filler in-between programming.
