Typing Jet was a typing game released for the Jave ME mobile phone system developed by Smilebit and published by SEGA in 2001. The game is based on the Jet Set Radio franchise, complete with series composer Hideki Naganuma composing the music for it as well.

The game was also mentioned in gaming magazine Dorimaga in a small section of the 18th issue.

Gameplay

The game would have likely been a game similar to the Typing of the Dead where the player must type in a word in order to progress, and taking too long to type would have costed a life. Little is known about the gameplay other than that brief description.

Availability

The game was released in June of 2001 for the J-SH07 cellphone only in Japan. It is unknown if there were any alternate versions for different models with different screen resolution. The mobile service shut down somewhere and the game has not resurfaced online.
