(FINALLY) ANOTHER NOTICE BOARD POST! (Added 16 Nov 2014) | |||
---|---|---|---|
Hey guys! So, as you are all likely aware, it's been nearly 2 months since the last notice board post and after some rocky happenings, things are once again getting back on track; today I have a few little goodies for you, as well as a couple of things that we overlooked for several months:
Well, I don't have a heck of a lot more to report on at the moment, although, as I have previously alluded to, I am currently planning a BIG event for next year... Keep an eye on our social media pages for future info ;) |
ANOTHER MIXED BAG OF DISCOVERIES AND GOOD NEWS! (Added 25 Sep 2014) | ||||
---|---|---|---|---|
Looks like we have another mixed bag of found media and news on our hands, so let's jump straight into it:
In other news:
That's all for now; thanks again to all parties involved in the unearthing of the aforementioned pieces of media! |
YET ANOTHER UNEARTHED LITTLE SHOP EPISODE HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION! (Added 23 Sep 2014) |
---|
Just 8 days since our last notice board post on the recently uncovered Little Shop episode "I Loathe a Parade", it has been pointed out to us (by CG'er Joeyhorrorfan) that episode 4 of Little Shop, "Unfair Science" was uploaded to private torrent tracker tv-vault.me all the way back in November of 2012, courtesy of ripper/uploader Comixbear! It really makes you wonder how much other unearthed stuff is floating around out there, having passed us by... |
ANOTHER LITTLE SHOP EPISODE HAS COME TO LIGHT! (Added 15 Sep 2014) |
---|
Earlier this month, an episode of Little Shop (an obscure 1991 animated series based on the film The Little Shop of Horrors) appeared on YouTube, courtesy of Betamax King (who presumably sourced the episode from a Betamax recording)! This new addition (ie. episode 6, "I Loathe a Parade") makes for a total of 2 episodes accounted for, of 13. |
MORE CHEEZ TV FOOTAGE HAS SURFACED! (Added 13 Sep 2014) |
---|
So far, September has been a pretty quiet month around here, which is why I am happy to announce that an online acquaintance of mine, Damien Keizer, has come forward as having several pieces of Cheez TV footage taped on VHS (after I posted a want ad of sorts on the Australian Vintage Video Facebook group) and has since ripped and mailed me one of the recordings! |
PRESENTING... FIREWORKS SAFETY - PARENTS! (Added 15 Aug 2014) |

A FEW POINTS OF INTEREST... (Added 08 Aug 2014) |
---|
Hey guys; sorry for my absence of late, I recently came down with a vicious flu that just wouldn't let up, though it has since subdued (for now, at least). So, what's been going on in the meantime? Quite a lot, actually:
Well, that's all for now; as I suggested, keep an eye out for further info on this month's surprise unveiling, it's gunna be pretty awesome! |
REMINDER: THE 3 T-SHIRT GIVEAWAYS ARE STILL UP FOR GRABS! (Added 25 Jul 2014) |
---|
So, for those who are unaware (or perhaps even for those who have simply forgotten), a few months back, I announced that I was conducting a t-shirt giveaway and that 3 of the wiki's YouTube channel's first 1000 subscribers (once that number of subscribers was reached) would be selected at random and would subsequently be awarded a t-shirt of their chosen size and colour. |
THE FULL DRAGON BALL Z MOVIE OVERVIEW SPECIAL HAS BEEN FOUND! (Added 10 Jul 2014) |
---|
Last night, while hunting for lost media, I was lucky enough to come across a download link to the entire Dragon Ball Z: Movie Overview Special, via Polish Dragon Ball fansite dbnao.net's forums! |
THE MONSTER PARTY FAMICOM PROTOTYPE ROM HAS BEEN RELEASED! (Added 09 Jul 2014) |
---|
Late last week, Mike over at nintendoplayer.com was anonymously emailed a ROM of the highly sought-after Famicom prototype of Monster Party, along with the instruction "for immediate release". After getting permission (out of courtesy) from Mark and Matt Nolan, who own the second known cart of the prototype and who had plans to release reproduction carts (and who, suspiciously, would neither confirm nor deny whether they had any part in the ROM's anonymous leaking), Mike has provided a download link to the ROM for all to enjoy! |
VHSRIPS OF VEGGIETALES' TAKE 38 AND MR. CUKE'S SCREEN TEST HAVE BOTH BEEN MADE AVAILABLE ON YOUTUBE! (Added 05 Jul 2014) | ||
---|---|---|
Thanks to LMW newcomer Gryphoemia, (also known by her YouTube account, olivermuffinsailor) both VeggieTales’ "Take 38" and "Mr. Cuke's Screen Test" have been ripped from VHS and made available online! |
TIM BURTON'S HANSEL AND GRETEL HAS BEEN FOUND! (Added 13 Jun 2014) |
---|
For a while now, the only way to watch Tim Burton's Hansel and Gretel, was via a low quality, handheld bootleg taken during a Tim Burton exhibition and subsequently uploaded to YouTube (albeit in incomplete form). But now, a complete VHSRip from the legendary lost film's one and only TV airing in 1983 has been uploaded to Cinemageddon by Ricsie! The intro with Vincent Price is missing, but the movie itself is all there. This VHSRip, plus the addition of the bootlegged Vincent Price intro means that Hansel and Gretel has officially been found in its entirety! |
FULL AMERICAN HISTORY X WORKPRINT NOW AVAILABLE! (Added 11 Jun '14) |
---|
For those who haven't been lurking the Shoutbox of late, I was recently given the opportunity to purchase a bootleg DVD of the full American History X workprint (from a party that wishes to remain anonymous); of course, I took them up on their offer and have since ripped, re-encoded and uploaded it to mega.co.nz for all to see. Enjoy! |
ATTENTION: LOCKDOWN IS OFFICIALLY IN EFFECT (Added 05 Jun '14) |
---|
It's unfortunate that it's come to this, but something really needed to be done about the amount of poorly written articles with total disregard for the article creation rules that are becoming more and more frequent. Below you'll find an FAQ outlining exactly how the lockdown will work. If you are an article contributor, READ THIS CAREFULLY! A word from ThatShoegazer on the matter: |
CARDS OF DEATH IS BEING RE-RELEASED ON VHS NEXT MONTH! (Added 28 May '14) |
---|
That's right folks; the astronomically rare film Cards of Death is finally getting a re-release, on the very format it was shot on, VHS! The release is the first of four planned, yearly offerings from Bleeding Skull Video, a new VHS label created by Joseph A. Ziemba and Zack Carlson, (from bleedingskull.com), in collaboration with Mondo Video. |
45 MINUTES OF CANZO EMPYREAN HAVE BEEN UPLOADED TO YOUTUBE! (Added 18 May '14; updated 21 May '14) |
---|
A large chunk of Justin Fornal's bizarre underground G.I. Joe film adaptation Canzo Empyrean has appeared online for the first time, courtesy of YouTuber Joshua Kane! It was uploaded exactly two months ago, on March 18th and has gone largely unnoticed until now. It is unclear whether this is the entire film or not (it's hard to determine much, due to the film's incredibly bizarre nature). In any case, this is an outstanding development! |
BLACK ANGEL IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR DIGITAL PRE-ORDER! (Added 08 May '14) |
---|
A couple of days ago, Roger Christian made the announcement (via coffeewithkenobi.com and Twitter) that Black Angel is now officially available for digital pre-order on iTunes, with a release date of May 20th! Without wanting to sound too much like an advertisement, it's really quite affordable, (considering its historical significance), at just $2.99 for the HD version and $1.99 for the SD one. |
KEEP LEFT'S SELF TITLED ALBUM NOW AVAILABLE! (Added 27 Apr '14) |
---|
HomeStarRunnerTron, after recently discovering an eBay auction for the rare, out-of-print, self titled Keep Left album (featuring Dan Povenmire, co-creator of Phineas & Ferb), promptly snatched it up and has since provided a rip for download (complete with scans)! |
AN EPISODE OF TOULI HAS BEEN FOUND! (Added 26 Apr '14) |
---|
Touli article author The Reynard recently discovered and brought to our attention that an episode of the French stop-motion animated series had been uploaded to Persian video sharing site zamanema.com! The episode has since been mirrored on YouTube, (as well as mega.co.nz), courtesy of PepsiWithCoke (aka bearfan121) and can be seen above. |
ANOTHER YOURI EPISODE FOUND/T-SHIRT GIVEAWAY! (Added 18 Apr '14) | ||
---|---|---|
Last night, while going through some old VHS tapes, I came across a copy of the J-Horror Dark Water, as recorded by myself in 2005 off Australia's Special Broadcasting Service (SBS). To my surprise, the tape also included an additional "Happy Tree Friends and Friends" block. Lo and behold, said block contained another episode of Youri, the Spaceman! I'm a bit puzzled as to how I managed to miss this one for so long; I could have sworn that I'd already gone through all my old tapes scouring for episodes, but what'dya know. |
A TRACK FROM DEFTONES' 2008 ALBUM EROS HAS BEEN OFFICIALLY RELEASED! (Added 14 Apr '14) |
---|
The track, titled "Smile", was recently uploaded to Chino Moreno's official YouTube account to commemorate the one year anniversary of bassist Chi Cheng's passing. In addition to this gesture, Moreno also tweeted a link to the video with the message "Chi, We miss you today and everyday. -deftones". |
LOST MEDIA WIKI T-SHIRTS AND HOODIES ARE NOW AVAILABLE! (Added 09 Apr '14) |
---|
Hey everybody, just a quick Notice Board post today to let you all know that Lost Media Wiki t-shirts (not unlike this one) and hoodies are now officially available via redbubble.com! |
THE ALAN PARSONS PROJECT'S "THE SICILIAN DEFENCE" IS NOW AVAILABLE! (Added 05 Apr '14) |
---|
A little under a week ago, The Alan Parsons Project's previously long-unreleased album The Sicilian Defence was officially made available as a part of The Complete Albums Collection, an Alan Parsons Project boxset, as released on the 31st of March; said album has since (inevitably) found its way to YouTube. Alan Parsons himself has stated on several occasions that the album was created with very little effort or enthusiasm, as the result of a contractual dispute between the band and Arista Records, (resulting in the album being shelved in the first place), so don't expect too much from this. Having said that, it's certainly a fascinating listen given its history and the fact that it has not been heard by the general public in the 30+ years since its initial recording. |
REGARDING YESTERDAY'S SHOCK ANNOUNCEMENT... (Added 02 Apr '14) |
---|
APRIL FOOLS! |
ENGLISH SUBTITLES FOR CRUEL GHOST LEGEND ARE NOW AVAILABLE! (Added 29 Mar '14) |
---|
Cruel Ghost Legend, the recently found, obscure Japanese horror film from 1968 can now be enjoyed by English audiences, thanks to the creation and provision of English subtitles by cinemageddon.net users Scannon (who translated the film) and lordretsudo (who timed the subs)! |
NINE EPISODES OF THE EMERIL SITCOM HAVE BEEN UPLOADED! (Added 22 Mar '14) | |||||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Wow, what a month! And with no signs of slowing down, yet another piece of lost media (or rather, several pieces) has come to light in the form of nine of the eleven filmed episodes of the Emeril sitcom, including two that were never even aired! |
THE WAIT IS OVER; GARAGE IS HERE! (Added 18 Mar '14; updated 21 Mar '14) |
---|
Yep, you read correctly; Garage has arrived! For those who haven't been following the situation over the past month and a bit, a copy of the game was recently put up on Yahoo Auctions Japan and was subsequently snapped up by hg101.proboards.com user cc0 (aka Mid Heavens in my Garagesan !!OUMLpH0sZpD on 4chan's /vr/ board). After a lengthy trip from Japan, to the U.S., to Australia (due to potential issues regarding Australian customs), the game arrived today and has been ripped for all to download! |
GOOD NEWS, EVERYONE! (Added 07 Mar '14) | |||||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
OK guys, today's Notice Board post is (as I previously suggested) a big one, so bear with me:
Well, that was a mouthful. Don't forget about the Trove alpha key competition; each Discluded article fixed up will earn you an entry into the draw, with no maximum amount of entries (see the Old Notice Board Posts page for further information). Good luck to everyone who participates! |
A LITTLE INCENTIVE... (Added 04 Mar '14) |
---|
Trove is a recently released sandbox voxel MMO by Trion Worlds, currently in closed alpha. I've been playing it for several months now and have been having a great time. It's kind of like a cross between Minecraft and Cube World (both of which I am also particularly fond of, so naturally this game was right up my alley), with a bunch of its own original ideas to boot. |
LIFT TO EXPERIENCE'S CALLIN' OUT TO JESUS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT HAS BEEN FOUND/THE LEGEND OF CALAMITY JANE EPISODE DEAD, OR ALIVE UNCOVERED! (Added 01 Mar '14) | ||
---|---|---|
It was recently brought to our attention that a rare Lift to Experience/The Autums split 7" vinyl, Callin' Out To Jesus In The Middle Of The Night/White Nights (the former of the two songs being performed by Lift to Experience) was purchased, ripped and uploaded to YouTube in late December of last year! Thanks to ThatShoegazer for tipping us off and a big thanks to YouTuber Eyes Like Propellers for bringing this rarity to light! |
AN OFF-BEATS VALENTINE'S IS NOW PUBLICLY AVAILABLE! (Added 28 Feb '14) |
---|
If you happened to have been trawling the shoutbox over the past few days, you're probably aware of a slightly controversial topic that came up, that being the uploading of the sought-after An Off-Beats Valentine's special that occurred a couple of weeks ago (on Valentine's day, to be precise). The catch here was that the upload was forbidden from being shared anywhere besides its source website (a private, invite only website, the name of which we were not even allowed to know), a concept which I wholeheartedly disagree with. |
INTRODUCING AN ALL NEW LOST MEDIA WIKI; MORE SECRECY, LESS ACCESS! (Added 26 Feb '14) |
---|
YET ANOTHER GRAVITY FALLS PILOT HIGHLIGHT REEL SURFACES! (Added 22 Feb '14) |
---|
About a week ago, a Gravity Falls pitch pilot highlight reel from House of Cool studios surfaced, revealing more footage that, up until then, had remained unseen. Now, yet another pilot highlight reel has surfaced, courtesy of animator Adam Temple, who was part of the production team! Thanks again go out to YouTuber TheMysteryofGF for creating a mirror; at this rate, we'll have the full thing in no time! :D |
THE ANGRY BEAVERS SNOWBOUND PILOT DVDRIP SURFACES/MORE GRAVITY FALLS PILOT FOOTAGE FOUND! (Added 16 Feb '14) | ||
---|---|---|
Hey guys. How many of you remember seeing the bootleg copy of the The Angry Beavers pilot "Snowbound" that was included in the "Cuffed Together" pilot article? Well, a DVDRip is now available, courtesy of Eddy's Uploads over at YouTube; thanks Eddy! Notably, on closer inspection, the original source of the pilot seems to be a VHS tape... Interesting. |
A FEW TIDBITS... (Added 06 Feb '14) | ||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Just a few more installments to go now for the Lopez tapes; in the interim, here are a few tidbits of interest:
Thanks again to all parties responsible for making these pieces of media available! Keep an eye on glbracer's Ricardo Lopez Tapes YouTube playlist for future installments and, as always, be mindful that said tapes are of a disturbing nature and, as such, should be viewed with caution. |
MORE RICARDO LOPEZ TAPES HAVE ARRIVED! (Added 23 Jan '14; last updated 02 Feb '14) | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
The uploading of the second half of the Lopez tapes is officially underway; we're now more than two thirds of the way to having all 18 hours widely available! Thanks again to bun39 (for securing the tapes), to his anonymous source, and to glbracer (for providing YouTube mirrors). |
ONE OF THE MISSING SCHOOLYARD SAFARI SHORTS HAS BEEN FOUND! (Added 20 Jan '14) |
---|
While many await the release of the final half of the Ricardo Lopez tapes, here's a little something to tide you over. Thanks to shoutbox contributor Dr.Unique (aka Rareth Maneth on YouTube), one of the missing Schoolyard Safari shorts (ie. "Flocking the Field") has been ripped and uploaded (just a few days back, and from their own personal collection, no less)! Fans are now one step closer to securing the entire series of nostalgic shorts; thanks again Dr.Unique! |
THE FIRST NINE HOURS OF THE RICARDO LOPEZ TAPES HAVE BEEN UPLOADED! (Added 09 Jan '14; last updated 15 Jan '14) | |||||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Huge thanks to bun39, who has been in contact with someone who owns the full 18 hours, and, of course, to said anonymous source. As they will be uploaded in hourly installments, stay tuned to this announcement for future videos. You can see the YouTube playlist above, (uploads courtesy of glbracer), which will be updated as new footage emerges. |
TWO MORE OFF THE LIST; RED ABYSS' ALBUM "LUCI'S LOVE CHILD" AND THE WHITE STRIPES' DOCUMENTARY "NOBODY KNOWS HOW TO TALK TO CHILDREN" HAVE BEEN FOUND! (Added 07 Jan '14) | ||
---|---|---|
What better way to start off the new year, than with two recently made discoveries; that being that Red Abyss' Luci's Love Child had been uploaded in full to YouTube, by user Rockbitchtribute Page, (between December 09 and 19, 2013), and that the rare The White Stripes documentary Nobody Knows How To Talk To Children had too been uploaded (all the way back on March 18 of last year; talk about a sleeper upload!). |

IT'S REALLY HERE FOLKS; CRACK MASTER! (Added 24 Dec '13) |
---|
WOW, just WOW. During the Christmas rush, I shamefully neglected to check my emails for a few days. So, when I happened to check them today, I was naturally shocked to find an email from December 21 simply titled "Crack Master", with a 23 MB .mov file attached, as sent through an anonymous emailing service. Immediately my heart rate shot through the roof, and I tried to calm myself down, in the event that it was a fake or a hoax. To my utter delight though, it was indeed the real deal. To the anonymous emailer who sent me the clip, if you're reading this, THANK YOU SO, SO MUCH, from the bottom of my heart; this is without a doubt the best Christmas present I have ever received, bar none!!! P.S. Our suspicions were correct, it IS called Cracks. |
THE REMAINING UNRESURFACED EPISODES OF THE POPCORN KID HAVE BEEN FOUND! (Added 11 Dec '13) | ||||
---|---|---|---|---|
I guess it must just be that time of year, because yet another discovery has slipped us by! The two remaining unresurfaced episodes (ie. episodes 2 and 5) of The Popcorn Kid were uploaded to YouTube by mantronix4ever, on September 20th and 21st of this year, respectively. |

While we're on the topic of late notices, here is one that we just plain forgot to create a notice board post for (sorry). For anyone who didn't see the recordings themselves, or hasn't heard of their recent leaking, three bootleg excerpts from Tim Burton's highly sought-after Hansel and Gretel were uploaded on the 18th of October, courtesy of YouTube user tapio1985 (the same user responsible for recording and uploading the intro to the film some time back), totalling almost 25 minutes! Big thanks to tapio1985 for the uploads, and for the most complete copy, (and the only copy, for that matter), of this film to ever hit the internet! |

|
Well, wouldn't you know it, another piece of unearthed lost media has slipped us by, for almost a month this time! Our bad. Anyhow, on October 9th, a YouTube user by the name of bumbumdbear uploaded a camcorder recording of the rare English dub of "Minnie Takes Care of Pluto", the so-called "banned" episode of Mickey Mouse Works! The recording was apparently taken from a circa 2010 airing of the elusive episode, on Disney Channel Asia. For someone like me, (who paid upwards of $100 just to have a Polish version of said episode translated), and all other lost media enthusiasts for that matter, this is excellent news! BIG thanks to bumbumdbear for uploading, and to YouTubeFan43 for originally tipping us off! The English dubbed episode can be seen in its entirety above. |

Aaaaand it's done. Thanks to Contributation la wikia, DonaldF, JohnGBell, NitrateNut and everyone else who attended! |

Rumours have been abundant over the past few days, regarding reports that two previously lost Doctor Who episodes had been found (supposedly taken from the rumoured haul of 100+ episodes allegedly found in Zambia earlier this year). Well, today the BBC have confirmed the exact details of the find: NINE episodes have been rediscovered - the remaining five "The Enemy of the World" episodes (ie. 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6), and four of the five missing "The Web of Fear" episodes (ie. 2, 4, 5 and 6) - all of which have since been made available for digital purchase on iTunes! The episodes were originally rediscovered by TV archive recovery expert Phillip Morris, at a local TV station in Nigeria, and there have even been hints from the BBC that there may be more to come (further perpetuating the rumour of the Zambian episode haul). |

So, if you've been following this whole saga over the past couple of days, (as many of us likely have been), you will be well aware that two tracks from Godspeed You! Black Emperor's All Lights Fucked on the Hairy Amp Drooling have recently been released by Reddit user casketjack, who rediscovered a copy of the tape in storage. Its validity has not yet been officially confirmed, but if it is a fake, it is extraordinarily well done (when comparing the photographs of the tape/booklet that casketjack has provided to the low resolution booklet scans that already existed online). Sadly, he seems to have decided to not release the remainder of the tape, instead, choosing to sell it off. Good luck with that casketjack, and thanks for the two songs! Having them is better than having nothing at all. You can hear both "Random Luvly Moncton Blue(s)" and "Dadmomdaddy" via the YouTube link above, or you can download casketjack's original .wav upload here. UPDATE 16 Sep: casketjack recently updated his original post again, shortly before deleting his Reddit account (probably as a result of an overwhelming influx of messages). In his update, he states that he has contacted Constellation Records regarding the matter, and that he has asked for their permission to release the full tape online! Here's hoping they let him. |

That's right, people; for the first time in over 33 years, Black Angel is finally being publicly screened again - on October 13th at the 36th Mill Valley Film Festival! Despite reports to the contrary, it has been officially confirmed that the restoration was actually done by Athena Studios, not PIXAR. The above title screenshot was released for the event, and is the public's first glimpse at the digitally restored version of the legendary short film. Tickets are only $11.50, so if you live nearby, I highly suggest going along to witness this historical re-unveiling of Roger Christian's 1979 directorial debut! |

Yesterday, Namowal received a copy of the Crack Master audio documentary from Jon Armond and has graciously shared it for all to hear! Download her original mp3 upload here, or listen to the clip via the above YouTube link. Thanks Namowal, you rule! And thanks to Jon, of course, for creating it in the first place! |

After a brief stint in limbo, I'm back, and the first thing I have to bring everyone up to speed with (if you weren't already aware) is the fact that on August 10, Uncle Sporkums discovered and made it widely known that several minutes of footage from The Day the Clown Cried had surfaced online (the source being an old Dutch documentary on the film, said section of which only having found its way to the internet the day before).
An incredible find if ever I saw one; well done Sporkums, and thanks for bringing this to our attention! |

So there you have it... Cosmo Anzilotti did NOT create, nor did he even work on (at least, not that he can recall) Crack Master. Not exactly the news we were hoping for, but at least now we can rule him out as the creator. Thanks for the speedy response Cosmo, we really appreciate it :) And thanks for the neat Scooby sketch! |
|
---|
|
Hi all! Shortly, I am going to be personally writing to Cosmo Anzilotti regarding the Crack Master video; with any luck, he will be able to provide us with a copy. However, I have also begun an online petition, which I think, if provided to Anzilotti with said letter, would drastically increase our chances of securing a copy. So, please, if you have a minute to spare, CLICK HERE TO SIGN the petition. Thanks! UPDATE 22 Jul: Alright guys, we hit 200 signatures! I've printed off a copy of the petition and mailed it to Cosmo Anzilotti, along with my letter. Thanks again to everyone who signed, and to anyone who hasn't, you can still feel free to; I sent Anzilotti a link with the petition so that, if he chooses to, he can see how much it has grown since I mailed him, so it certainly wouldn't hurt to continue collecting signatures. |

Today, cinemageddon.net user pokes has graciously uploaded a VHSRip of the original 1989 film for all to enjoy! HUGE thanks to pokes for finally unearthing this incredible rarity, said to be one of the the pioneering films of the found-footage genre. Check it out now via the streaming links below, or, alternatively, download it directly from our mega.co.nz mirror. |

|
On the 11th of May, 2013, YouTube user jeffdadude87 (who had previously recorded the entire Big Help-a-thon 5) kindly uploaded a bootleg copy of the episode on our request (but only for a limited time). Thanks jeff! |

On April 22, 2013, Mickey Mouse in Vietnam was silently uploaded to YouTube with System of a Down's "Soldier Side (Intro)" dubbed over the top of it. The upload went largely unnoticed for almost three weeks, and as such, many people were shocked to suddenly be seeing it when the word spread. On that note, we'd like to give a big thanks to abadhiggins for finally unearthing this rarity! UPDATE 15 May: abadhiggins has, for whatever reason, removed his original upload from YouTube. Not to worry though, as multiple mirrors live on. UPDATE 30 Jun: In a recent buzzfeed.com interview, co-creator Milton Glaser gave his thoughts on the short's rediscovery. |
|

|
Following the (rather unsuccessful) Paley Center screening, snowpeck over at myspleen.org has uploaded a VHS rip of the ENTIRE First Ever Short Films by Short People Film Festival (including, of course, the infamous Attack of the Giant Vulture)! HUGE amount of thanks to snowpeck, this is the best, most comprehensive copy we could have possibly hoped for, and we're incredibly grateful for the share. |
|

|
Huge thankyou to /co/, /r/Lost_Films, Pan-Pizza, the Twitter campaigners, the creators of the episode, and, most importantly, Adult Swim for finally unearthing this legendary video. You guys really came through for us, and we are incredibly grateful. UPDATE 10 Feb: Adult Swim have made the YouTube video private for some reason, and have also removed the streaming link from their site, but that hasn't stopped people spreading it around. |
