On January 8th, 2011, Jared Lee Loughner carried out a mass shooting at a constituent meeting in a supermarket parking lot in Casas Adobes, Arizona. At 10:10 A.M., Loughner drew a pistol and shot Representative Gabby Giffords in the head at point-blank range.[1] He then fired randomly at others surrounding, killing 6, including federal District Court judge John Roll.[2] An employee at the supermarket claimed he heard "15 to 20" gunshots. Loughner was hit in the back of the head with a folding chair by Roger Salzgeber, and then (Loughner) was later apprehended.[3]

A surveillance camera at the supermarket captured the events of the shooting. However, the tape was never released to the public.[4] The tape is most likely still in possession by the FBI and will probably never be released.
