KISS Hello Kitty is a line of Sanrio products than ran from 2010 to 2013, featuring a collaboration between the Sanrio character Hello Kitty and the 1970s rock band KISS. Multiple products were released for this series, ranging from figures to stationary to audio equipment- however, a tie-in cartoon series was intended to be produced. It is currently unconfirmed if any production materials from the pilot were ever made.

Information

In March of 2013, three articles from three[1] different[2] sources[3] were released stating that Gene Simmons, lead vocalist of the band, was working with the children's television network The Hub to create a show based on the crossover line. Details about the show were scarce given how early the project was into development, but the plot was said to be about "four Kiss x Hello Kitty characters living their rock 'n' roll dreams and bringing pink anarchy to every situation they are in.".

Gene Simmons was said to be a lead producer, and Paul Stanley (another band member) was also said to have worked on the show in some capacity. A release date was never given, and KISS Hello Kitty was said to be a working title for the series.
