“Tip of the Tongue” was a monthly podcast hosted by Brendan Blaber (known online as JelloApocalypse) and William Sopp. Every episode, the hosts would give advice on various topics relating to content creation like voice acting, improv, writing, and managing projects, among many others. It ran for 20 episodes between April 2017 and January 2019.
The podcast had semi-frequent guest stars, some of which were relatively high-profile for the industry. A few of these guest stars include SungWon Cho (known as ProZD, Geoff Thew (creator of the Mother's Basement YouTube channel), Marissa Lenti (voice actor), Lizz Robinett (musician), and Caleb Hyles (musician.)
It was hosted on Blaber’s YouTube channel and Soundcloud, on iTunes[1], and on the Fan Off Media website. However, sometime between 2023 and early 2024, all episodes were either privatized or deleted for unknown reasons. One commenter on a reupload of the first episode claims they were taken down in August 2023, but this has not been verified.[2]
12 episodes were recovered using the Wayback Machine in June 2024, and are accessible on both YouTube and archive.org. Two additional episodes were reuploaded by YouTube user @AnasAli-hm2me on October 27, 2024.
Six episodes are currently missing from the 20-episode lineup, and a list of these videos and their original YouTube links was compiled from Blaber’s Patreon and additional sites.
