It stars Maranda Thomas as Sam, a jaded girl looking for a Christmas present for her sister. In her search she comes across a second-hand store owned by a woman named Rose (Cynthia Dale), who helps Sam rediscover the magic of Christmas and herself rediscover the importance of family. Tom Cavanagh, Henry Czerny and the late Ed Asner also appear in supporting roles.[1]
