So if you look at the progression reel footage of Lyle, Little Joe and Easter Carol - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ap6QNCR6BH4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTMqTdoU4ZQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1eeTIQzCkKI You can notice the "code" on the bottom of the screen is cut off, meaning that those episode were produced in widescreen but were later "letterboxed" for the final release. So it isn't just Little Joe that was in widescreen. This could also mean that all the episodes made in Maya (King George - Easter Carol) made by Big Idea [and maybe even 3-2-1 Penguins!] were made in widescreen, but that's just more of speculation.
