The Star Wars prequel trilogy is a trilogy of space opera films released from 1999 to 2005 written and directed by George Lucas. They serve as prequels (hence the name) to the Star Wars original trilogy and include the films, Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, and Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. While many of these films' deleted scenes have been released on their various home media releases, almost as many if not more have not and they remain unreleased.
