It would be a film of epic proportions, about one of Mexico's biggest figures, which was a good thing. The movie was eventually filmed, but the contract was soon cancelled because of the relationship between the USA and Francisco Villa deteriorating. Villa was left with no help to produce his masterpiece, and the film was quietly forgotten.
